AnotationThe French-Czech cooperation project deals with the research of Anglicisms and their penetration into the French and Czech languages. To study these anglicisms, we will use the digital platform Nénufar (abbreviation Nouvelle édition numérique de fac-similés de référence - http://nenufar.huma-num.fr/mentions-legales/), which was developed at the Paul Valéry University in Montpelier. This digital platfom has provided access to the digitized version of Petit Larousse Illustré?s dictionaries since 1905. The researchers can describe the penetration of Anglicism into French from a diachronic point of view and give a detailed overview of how the term has developed in French over more than a hundred years. Due to the fact that the team consists mainly of experts in the field of lexicology, phonetics and orthography, special attention will be paid to these components of the language. The monitored indicators will also include a comparison of the spread of the anglicisms in both languages. Given that the two countries are to take a different view of the adoption of Anglicisms, the project will discuss the issue of the equivalents of Anglicisms and their competitive advantage / disadvantage over the coming.
