| Anotation | Man in a time of change The aim of the project entitled "Man in the Time of Change" is to capture the behaviour and attitudes of individuals and social groups at the turning points of the politically, economically and socially turbulent "long" 19th and "short" 20th centuries. The research team will focus on two main segments of the research: 1.Old elites in the whirlwind of 19th and 20th century changes The segment will examine the question of the role of the nobility in the process of radicalization of the civil strata of society in the late 18th and the first half of the 19th century, the course and extent of integration into the emerging civil society, etc. 2.The birth of new elites in the 19th and 20th centuries This segment will examine the emergence and rise of new political, economic and social elites in the 19th and 20th centuries. The results of the research will be published in the pages of scholarly monographs and studies in databased (Scopus), peer-reviewed journals and presented at scientific conferences. |
