Events

In the project, we will organise a session of three workshops at partner universities. During the workshops, we will present and discuss important philosophical contributions made in Visegrad countries. Each workshop will take place in a different country (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland) and will cover the topics related to philosophical ideas, philosophical theories or particular philosophical figures that originate in/from Visegrad countries. Each workshop shall revolve around a problem field closest to the interests of scholars from each institution involved in the project: logic and philosophy of logic, philosophy of language and philosophy of science. Contributions to logic in Visegrad countries will therefore be discussed at the University of Ostrava, achievements in philosophy of language will be the main theme of the workshop held at the University of Warsaw and the accomplishments in the philosophy of science will be presented at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica.
