Upcoming conferences and Talks
In early March, Aviezer Tucker, David Černín, and Georg Gangl will speak at the conference “On Plurality and Relativism in Contemporary Philosophy” at the University of Ružomberok, Slovakia. Their topics will be “Historiographic Knowledge as Expert Knowledge” (Tucker; keynote), “Historians as Informavores, Plurality, and Epistemic Constraints in Historiography” (Černín), and “Dissensus on Consensus. Lessons on Plurality and Relativity from the Philosophy of History”.
On March 19th, Aviezer Tucker will speak historiography of Communism at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
In May, Aviezer Tucker, David Černín, and Georg Gangl, and Adam Timmins will speak at the 6th network conference of the International Network for Theory of History in Tallinn, Estonia, on the philosophy of the historical sciences.

In May, Aviezer Tucker will speak at the conference “The Interdisciplinary Trend in Contemporary Historiography: The Environment, Body, and Emotion” at the Department of History at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China.
In August, Aviezer Tucker will speak at the 2nd Vilnius Convention in Historical Theory, organized around the theme Anthropocene Historiography.
