Assistant professor in clinical psychology

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava announces a selection procedure, reference number: OU-71368/25-2024, to fill an academic position of:

• Assistant professor in clinical psychology

Job description:

• provides teaching in Bachelor's and Master's study programmes (including supervising and opposing theses) and participating in the development of the study programmes;
• participates in the doctoral study programmes (in case of approval by the scientific council of the faculty);
• develops creative activity - solving demanding research tasks, active publication activity in peer-reviewed journals, or other forms of publication outputs, participation in scientific conferences, active presentation of the results of creative activity;
• supports the third role of the university - especially in the form of popularizing creative activity, in the administration associated with the performed activity and in the self-government of the university.
  
  

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in psychology or related discipline, Master´s and Bachelor´s degrees in the field of single-subject psychology;
• active scientific and publication activity in the field of psychology (with emphasis on publications in IF/Scopus journals) in the last 5 years;
• experience of involvement in grant and scientific research projects;
• EU research level: R2 - Recognized;
• knowledge of the English language at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
• knowledge of the Czech language at C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
• excellent communication skills;
• independent, responsible and creative approach to work;
• civil and moral integrity.
