AnotationThe project "Medieval Written Sources and Possibilities of Their Research and Interpretation" is a loose continuation of previous project intentions solved within the Center Vivarium, which were devoted to knowledge of various aspects of medieval society, culture and sources. The main benefit and goal of the proposed project is the intensive involvement of doctoral and master's students in the study of medieval written sources with a focus on the possibilities of their interdisciplinary research, their analysis and interpretation. The project will focus on written sources of domestic and foreign provenance and individual documents will be examined by members of the research team with regard to various methodological and interpretive starting points. Students will deal with the issue in terms of the topics of their graduation theses and the project should lead students to develop their own professional work and independent publishing activities in professional journals as a necessary and desirable element of scientific work. The activities within the project will also include active presentations at the colloquium, which will be organized within the project, or participation in other conferences. The project will also include small workshops led by team members from among the participating academics. The aim of the project is to expand the professional competence of students, especially the ability of independent, original research and work with written sources. The main outputs of the project will be prepared monographs and professional studies of all members of the research team, which will be published in peer-reviewed professional periodicals (part will be published abroad).
